This exhibtion was the lead up to the Candelo music festival. 92 Students from Candelo primary school were asked to paint a canvas depicting how they saw life in Candelo.

The Crossing Gallery opened on the 27th September 2008 with a mixed exhibtion of work from 16 artists, local and interstate.

By  4.30 pm on Saturday 27^th September there was no doubt that the opening of The Crossing Gallery was a huge success. The beautifully renovated building and sculpture garden were packed and The Wild Martins entertained everyone with special guest appearances by Heath Cullen and Phil Moriarty.

Rachel Burns, Public Programs Coordinator for the Regional Art Gallery, opened the exhibition which featured many forms of media from both local and visiting artists.
